Convertible Car Seats - Rear & Forward Facing
Wee Travel rents convertible car seats for children that can be used in both the rear-facing and forward-facing positions.
(Please let us know in advance if seat will be rear-facing)
Before you install the car seat, we recommend you read the manufacturer’s instructions and your vehicle owner’s manual for installation instructions. You may also want to check out these tips for installing child car seats in Ontario and B.C.
Britax Convertible Seat:
- Equipped for rear-facing 5-40 lbs (2.3-18kg), forward-facing 22-55lbs (11-25kg) or 65 lbs (depending on seat). Max height 49” (124cm tall)
- Anti-rebound bar is required for rear-facing, so please request or mention rear-facing at time of booking
- Built-in Lock Off seatbelt install or Latch/Iso-fix install
- 5-point harness, up-front adjustment to easily size from birth to toddler
- Adjustable shoulder height position, adjustable headrest
- Some have infant and body pillows (available upon request, for use under 22lbs only)

Clek Fllo:
- Equipped for rear-facing 14-40 lbs (2.3-18kg), forward-facing 22-65lbs (11-29.5kg) . Max height 49” (124cm) tall

- “Infant Thingy” – insert allowing babies under 14lbs to use the seat (upon request only)
- Our most compact seat – it is possible to fit 3 across! 17″ at the widest point

The Britax Convertible Car Seat is suitable for your child in the rear facing position from birth to 40 lbs, forward facing from 22-65 lbs
The Clek Fllo Car Seat is rated for 14 - 40 lbs rear-facing, and can be used forward-facing from 22 - 65 lbs. Clek Fllo is our most compact seat and is 17" at the widest spot.
Front facing seats are for babies:
- who are at least 1 year of age
- weigh a minimum of 22 lbs
- Please keep in mind that the safest way for your child to travel is in the rear facing position so the longer your child looks out the back window the safer they will be!
- Convertible seats mean that the seat "converts" at various stages of your child's life (ie: rear to front facing).
Wee Travel is happy to guide you through our selection of front facing and convertible car seats. Some are wide, some are narrow, some are heavy, others lighter. All meet Canadian safety standards (all car seats sold by retailers meet the same safety standard).
Never use a car seat bought in the USA or another country, in Canada. Canada has very stringent safety standards that other countries may not meet.
