We take pride in offering seats that are highly rated on Consumer Reports and highly regarded by the car seat installation experts. The majority of infant seats hold babies rear facing, up to 35lbs. Infant car seats take your baby from birth until about 1 year of age.
In Canada, by law, a child must be in a rear facing seat until 1 year of age. You can be ticketed by the authorities should you not abide by that rule. In actual fact the longer you can keep your baby in the rear facing position, the safer your child will be.
When purchasing a car seat, it’s always best to try it out in your car before you leave the store. The way it fits will differ from car to car. The fit is based on a number of factors such as the slope of your car’s seat, the depth of your car’s seat, the tilt of the infant seat and other factors. At Wee Travel we offer a number of different models of infant seats because we understand that our customers have different needs. We have some that work with our travel systems, some that hold heavier babies and some that are best suited for very small babies.
