There's nothing like a warm bath to relax your baby just before bed and a relaxed baby means a relaxed parent. If you've ever tried to bathe a newborn in a full size bathtub you know how uncomfortable it is on your back unless you get into the tub and bathe with your baby: rub-a-dub-dub-get-you-in-the-tub (not a great habit to get into!) At Wee Travel we've had our share of back-breaking baths so we would be happy to rent you a tub. We have a variety of styles because there are a variety of options available on the market and there are a variety of babies, of parents, of kitchen sinks (easier on the back) and of bathroom tubs. If you have a preference please let us know as we are here to accommodate your needs. We have even recently included the bath “womb” in our inventory. There are various companies with their own unique name but this little tub is designed to feel like the mother's womb. It looks like a little rubber bucket and the baby is immersed in it to the shoulders. It's the ultimate in warmth and security because the babies naturally convert into the fetal position which has an incredibly calming effect on them which of course allows both of you to enjoy bath time. These little tubs have been recommended for babies 0-6 months of age. It's just too bad that they don't come in adult sizes!
