Wee Travel Baby Equipment Rentals is proud to announce two new partnerships that make it easier and less stressful for families to fly to Vancouver with small children
Over the years Wee Travel has sought out new products and innovative ways to make it safer, easier and less stressful for families to fly with small children. With the following two developments, the company really has become a one-stop shop for families visiting Vancouver:
1. Wee Travel has partnered with The Modage, a beautiful furnished vacation rental in Kitsilano. After hearing their customers remark over and over again how difficult it is to stay in hotels with small children, Wee Travel decided a vacation rental property was the solution. Naturally, a full range of baby gear can be provided for a minimal cost.
2. Wee Travel has partnered with CDS baggage services at the Vancouver International Airport. With all the road closures during the Olympics, there will be lots of traffic and therefore long cab rides to and from the airport and expensive cab fares. While the Canada Line (Vancouver’s rapid rail service) makes it really quick, easy and inexpensive for travelers to get between the airport and downtown, it’s not such an attractive option when you have a few kids in tow and more than a few suitcases to manage. With its partnership with CDS, anyone renting travel gear from Wee Travel or staying at The Modage, will have the option of dropping off their luggage at a CDS baggage desk upon arrival. CDS will deliver the luggage to their accommodation later in the day for a minimal fee ($15 for 4 bags). This will enable people to take the Canada Line with little more than a purse or diaper bag in hand. CDS will also pick up luggage from people and bring it back to the airport, enabling visitors to easily take the Canada Line back to the airport for departure.

Over the years Wee Travel has sought out new products and innovative ways to make it safer, easier and less stressful for families to fly with small children. Over and over again we’ve heard from our customers how difficult it is to stay in hotels with small children, due to the lack of amenities. As such we are very excited to tell you about our latest acquisition – a stunning rental accommodation in Vancouver called The Modage.
We converted this 1300 sq foot townhouse to a furnished vacation rental in August 2009. It’s fully equipped with top quality furnishings and amenities, and we welcome kids and pets! It comes complete with a crib and highchair if required, and a full range of baby gear can be provided for minimal cost. With 2 bedrooms, a den and 2.5 bathrooms, The Modage can easily accommodate six guests. Best of all, it’s located right in the heart of Kitsilano, one of the most desirable areas ofVancouver.
If you or your friends are planning to come to Vancouver in December 2009 or January 2010 and would like to stay at The Modage, please mention this offer and we will discount the rate by 15%.
Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy holiday season,
Shana, Lesley and Jennifer

If you are planning a trip to Vancouver for the 2010 Olympics, here’s a great tip….pack light and enjoy the convenience of renting top-of-the-line baby gear from Wee Travel Baby Equipment Rentals. Have your rental item delivered to the location of your choice, or pick-up from the airport or our Kitsilano location.
Everything is in brand-new condition and meticulously cleaned. We are always worried about germs and this flu season we are washing anything that can’t go in the dishwasher or washing machine first with bleach and then with an antibacterial soap.

Organizers of the 2010 Olympics have indicated that there will be major road and bridge closures during the Olympics. The new Canada Line, running between the airport and downtown Vancouver, is certainly one way to avoid traffic congestion. However, if the thought of taking public transit with your kids and all your luggage in tow actually makes traffic congestion appealing, Wee Travel has some great news.
A great service has recently opened up at Vancouver International Airport. CDS Baggage Services will come to your home, pick up your luggage and bring it to the airport. Your bags will be waiting for you at one of their baggage storage counters - either in the Domestic or International terminal - depending on where you are traveling.
This means you can hop on the Canada Line with your kids and your keys and arrive at the airport bag free, relaxed and ready to fly. Stop by the baggage storage counter, pick up your luggage and check in. It’s that simple. Price is $15 for 1-4 bags, plus the cost of storage. In most cases it’s cheaper than a taxi (especially with the meter running in traffic) and much more fun! Call CDS for more information and make sure to book the service a day before your flight. 604-303-4500.
If you need a carseat or a stroller during your visit, Wee Travel will be happy to deliver these items to CDS Baggage Services for you. And if you need a place to stay in Vancouver, be sure to check out our gorgeous rental accommodation right in the heart of Kitsilano.
